hacking the roku soundbridge

if you've got a roku soundbridge and you bothered to look at the user manual, you might have noticed this interesting tidbit:

geeks -- read this: The SoundBridge has a command line interface that you can "telnet" to for piddling about. You will need to telnet to port 4444 � We will be documenting in more detail how to control a SoundBridge in the coming months�

in lieu of waiting for the official documentation, you can check out this document which describes the available commands. one of the more interesting commands is 'scetch', which allows you to draw static and scrolling marquee text to the lcd screen.

4. I might not have to click on them, but they take up too much space and disrupt the flow of the page. I agree, Roger is a puppet.

7. I like the links. You don't have to click them if you don't want them. I think they're better than many of the hacks.
